W: Look! He is playing Chinese chess with Bill over there.
3. M: What did you do yesterday evening?
W: I went shopping with my mum and bought a nice dress.
4. M: It is said the rain will last at least five days.
W: I hope not. There is too much rain in our area these days. It may cause a flood.

W: I have a headache. I stayed up too late last night.
6. M: Hi, Sarah. Do you know the woman over there?
W: The one with curly hair? Oh, that's our new Art teacher. She is so nice that we all like her.

M: No, thanks. I've eaten too much and I don't want to have anything else.
8. M: I went to your house last Sunday, but it was empty. Have you moved to the country?
W: Yes. Now we have more fresh air and my new flat is nearer to our factory.
9. M: Did you use to play the piano?
W: Yes, I did. But I'm used to getting up early and playing the violin now.
