W: Yes. We have a lovely cat.
4. M: Nancy, you look tired. What's the matter?
W: Dad kept me practising playing the violin for hours this morning.

6. M: Luckily, it is not so wet and hot as it was yesterday.
W: Yes, you are right.
7. M: Who won the high jump? I missed it yesterday.
W: Bill did. And Jack jumped the farthest in the sports meeting.
8. W: I'm a little tired. I think I'll go to KFC and listen to some music. Do you want to join me?
M: I'd love to, but I will have to go to the bookshop to buy a book for my younger sister.
9. M: What are we going to do now?
W: Since there is no ticket for the 3-D film, let's go to watch the dolphin show. It's more interesting than watching fireworks.
10. M: Excuse me, do you have any books on star signs?
W: Yes, they're on No. 8 shelf.
M: How long can I keep one?
W: For ten days.
