新目标版八年级英语上Unit2 How often do you exercise?Section B 2a--2e教学设计
根据教学教材特点以及初二年级学生的实际情况,我将教学过程分为五个部分:
第一部分:导入。首先跟同学们问好,然后跟同学们一起讨论刚刚结束的暑假过的怎么样,在这个假期间去过哪些地方,做过些什么活动,从而复习七年级学习过的一些活动的表达。
第二部分:单词及短语教学。通过对本单元的标题分析,讲解单词;根据课本中给出的图画,引导学生学习一些新的对活动的表达短语,并且通过不断重复来增强对这些单词的记忆。
第三部分:教材解析。通过完成教材中的相应练习,比如说听力练习,从而学习跟本单元密切相关的一些表达。
第四部分:巩固环节。通过完成教材中的1c双人练习,来加强对所学句型的理解并能熟练运用。另外通过游戏来巩固学生对一些描写活动的词组的记忆。
第五部分:总结本节课的内容并布置课后作业。

Teaching objectives:

1. Learn the new words: junk, junk food, milk, health, interviewer
2.Talk about how often you do things.
3. Be able to use “How often do you drink milk?”

a. Work in pairs. Ask and answer the lifestyles of Katrina and Bill, using the structure below.
A: How often does Katrina exercise?
B: She exercises every day. How often does Bill exercise?
A: He hardly ever exercises.
b. When we use “hardly ever”, please pay attention to the third singular form, because the subject is the third singular form. The word “hardly ever” can not be used as a model verb. 当我们用 “hardly ever” 的时候,请注意用第三人称单数形式,因为主语是第三人称单数,“hardly ever”不能当作情态动词用。
5.Task 2: Please ask your friends about the questions in 2b.

a. Now practice with your partner and ask him/her the questions in 2b, using the structure below. Then give an assessment.
A: How often do you drink coffee?
B: I often drink coffee every day.
A: Do you like it?
B: Yes, very much.
A: But it’s not good for your health.
6.Key words or structures.
1) want (sb.) to do sth. 想要(某人)做某事
e.g. I want him to go with me. 我想让他和我一起去。
2) It’s +adj. for sb. 对某人……
e.g. It’s not healthy for babies. 这对婴儿不健康。
3) vegetables:注意复数 fruit:常用单数
4) how many +名词的复数形式
e.g. How many books do you need? 你需要多少本书?
Step 3: Summary
a. Let’s summarize what we learnt in this period.
b. Yes. We learnt what healthy food is and what junk food is. And we learnt the countable nouns and uncountable nouns. We practiced expressing how often we do something adequately. And we know how to give assessment to it now.
Step 4: Homework
1.Copy the words on page 3 and 4, and recite them;
2.Copy the tape script of 2a and 2b and translate it into Chinese;
3.Tomorrow we will have a dictation of what we learnt today
