1. M: I often drive to work. How do you go to work?

      W: I usually walk to work. On rainy days I take a bus to work.

2. M: It’s raining heavily now. Will it still rain tomorrow?

      W: The radio says it’ll be a sunny day tomorrow. We’ll have a barbecue.

3. M: Let’s go shopping together. I need a pair of jeans.

      W: Ok. I want to buy a coat instead of a dress. It’s getting cold now.

4. M: What would you like to have, bread or fruit?

      W: Neither. I feel thirsty. Can you give me something to drink?

      M: OK. Here you are.

5. M: I like black, but my favourite colour is orange. What about you, Amy?

      W: I prefer green to orange.

6. M: Hurry up! The film will be on soon.

      W: Don’t worry. It’s 7:15 now. We still have half an hour left.

7. M: This pen costs 8 dollars, but I can’t afford it. I have only 3 dollars. Can I borrow 5 dollars, Alice?

      W: Sorry, I only have 3 dollars.

8. M: What do you want to be in the future?

    W: I like working with children. I want to help them solve problems.

      M: I hope your dream can come true.

9. M: Did you use to go to school at seven?

    W: Yes. I went to school a little later yesterday.

    M: Why?

    W: My clock didn’t work.

10. M: I didn’t see you in the office just now. Were you in the library?

   W: No, I sent a letter to my best friend.
