Task & self-assessment(第62~62页),写一篇短文向别人介绍自己的学校。
教材分析
“Task”&“Self-assessment”部分,是知识和技能的输出部分。运用本课时所学的内容组织语言并合理架构文章,向别人介绍自己的学校。在此基础上让那个学生对照本单元的学习项目进行自我评价,制定学习计划,从而提高学习水平。
教学目标:
基础知识
掌握词汇:letter , few , away , best
    词组:a few , far away from , on foot , all the best
    句型:We only have a few classrooms . I live far away from the school . I go to school on foot every day .
基本技能:
1. 学会收集写作信息;
2. 熟练运用本单元所学词汇、词组、句型组织语言并合理构架文章,向别人介绍自己的学校。
综合素质:激发对美好校园的热爱。

教学设计
Step I  Lead-in (导入部分)
1.Present and learn the new words
2.Read the letter in Part A and answer my question : What does Liu Li write about in this letter ? (He writes about his school , the playground , the teachers , and how he goes to school every day .)
Step II   Presentation(新授)
1.Please ask and answer the following questions in pairs to know more details about Liu Li’s school :
What is the name of his school ? Is his school big or small ? How many classrooms do they have ? Do they have a playground ?Do they have a library ?Do they have a reading room ? How does he go to school ? How long does it take him to go to school ?
2.Read the article in Part A after the tape .
3.Explain language points
Step Ⅲ   Practise(操练)
1.Discuss in groups : How to organize information in an article ?
Paragraph One : The name of the school .
Paragraph Two & Three : Different places in the school .
Paragraph Four : Something about teachers .
Paragraph Five : The way to go to school .
2.Read Liu Li ‘s letter again
Step IV  Write a guide(写作)
1. Work in groups of four
Which school do you study at ? What do you have in your school ? How many …are there at your school ? Is your playground big or small ? Are there any trees at your school ? Where do you live ? How do you go to school every day ? How long does it take you to go to school by …/ on ?
2.Finish Part B and do your best to write an article about your school .
