1)so that引导目的状语从句时，表示“以便；为了”。例如：
       I got up early so that I could catch the early bus.
      我早起是为了搭乘早班车。
2) so +形容词或副词+ that ...引导结果状语从句，意思是“如此……以致于……”。例如：
       He runs so fast that nobody can catch up with him.  
      他跑得非常快，没人能追上他。
