2. price的用法
(1) price 一般用作单数，半价应表达为half price, price 作主语时谓语动词用单数。
The price of that house ____ (be)580,000 yuan.
(2)对价格的提问不用how much, 而用what。
(3)价格一般论高低，用high 或者low,而不用“昂贵的”与“便宜的” （ expensive或者cheap）来表示。
(4)询问某个物品的价格用： What’s the price of...? 或 How much is / are...。
