一、教学目标：
（一）知识目标
1.掌握单词concert,Chinese,CD.能够认读单词instrument,erhu,violin,pipa,guitar.      
2.掌握功能句  
   What did they play? 
   Dad played the erhu. And Mum played the pipa.
（二）技能目标
 1.学会描述过去发生的事件。
 2.学会用英语正确表达\'演奏某种乐器\'。
（三）情感目标
    通过谈论中国音乐会和中国乐器，提高学生欣赏中国乐曲的能力，并对孩子   们进行爱国主义教育。
二、教学重难点：
    单词的发音；能在真实的情境中正确地用过去时来描述发生的事件；掌握演奏乐器与玩（打）球类在表达上的不同。
三、教学过程
Step 1.Warm-up.
1.Greeting.
2.Free talk:
a.Let the students tell the story of ”Tilly was a mouse.”They can say and do actions at the same time,just like a mouse,it’s very interesting.
b.Say out the past simples in this story.
is/am-was, go-went, buy-bought, eat-ate, see-saw, break-broke, run-ran
c.Answer my questions(show them some photos):
What did teacher eat yesterday?  
What did teacher see?
What did teacher do?
   Elicit Ss: Teacher ate noodles yesterday.She saw a cat,and she listened to music.
Step 2.Presentation
T:I love Chinese music very much,and I’ve got lots of CDs(teach the new words:Chinese,CD).And I can listen to the music in a concert too(teache the new word concert).

Step 3.New Teaching
1.Look at this picture,here’s a concert，listen to the tape(don’t open their books) and answer the questions:
Who played in the concert? 
What instruments can you hear? What are they?
2.Open your books,listen again,and find:
①.What did they play?
Elicit: Dad played the erhu.Mum played the pipa.
Pay attention to the differences :Mum played _____ guitar. Dad played ____football.I played _____ my toys.
②What does the erhu/pipa look like?
Pay attention to the Chinese instrument and Western instrument.
3.Listen to the text again and repeat.
4.Have a reading match,to get a present.
Step 4.Practice
1.Do the SB-E3 .Listen and number the pictures,then say in order.(这个环节要求男女生们各自完成，孩子们要先标注图片序号，然后再按顺序表达出来，要合作才能完成，且男女生图片序号不相同。)
