一、Objective
Enable the Ss to master the sentence pattern: What is your hobby? I like collecting stamps. Enable the Ss to master some phrases with “ing” forms: collecting stamps, riding a bike, diving, playing the violin, and making kites.

Step1: Warm-up
Listen to the song from Recycle 2 “I love going hiking”, sing and do some actions with the teacher.(调节学生的情绪,同时巩固like/love+v-ing这个知识语言点。)
Step2: Preview
Say as much sentences as you can. T: I like collecting leaves. S1: I like collecting leaves. I like taking pictures.(训练学生的口语交际的同时忆起相关的语言知识。)
Step3: Presentation
Let’s start:
T: What’s your hobby?
S2: Swimming. What about you? The teacher illustrates and helps the Ss to fill in the blanks.(通过与学生的对话,激发学生的兴趣。)
Let’s learn
(1) The teacher tells the hobbies to his students: I like playing the violin. What is your hobby? Help the Ss to say: I like … Writing the sentences “What’s your hobby? I like playing the violin.” on the board. Read and spell: hobby, playing the violin.(先由教师引导学生,做拉小提琴的动作,让学生明白老师的意图,消除疑惑,大胆地参与下面的教学活动。)
(2) Show a stamp album and take out a stamp. T: What’s this? S1: It’s a stamp. Write the word “stamp” on the board and read and spell. T: I like collecting stamps. Write the phrase “collecting stamps” on the board and read. T: Do you like collecting stamps? Ss: I like collecting stamps.(通过呈现直观的实物,使抽象变得形象, 具体,生动.学生易于接受。)
(3) The teacher does the action of riding a bike and asks: what am I doing now? S3: You are … T: Yes, I am riding a bike. I go to work by bike everyday. I like riding a bike. Write the phrase “riding a bike” on the board and read. (教师做动词短语的动作,让学生从直观认识该动词短语,加深学生的印象,同时更能拉近学生与教师的距离,以“朋友”的关系一起学习,提高课堂效率。)
(4) Show a picture of a kite and ask: what’s this? Ss: It’s a kite. The teacher does the action of flying a kite and asks: What am I doing now? Ss: You are … T: Yes, I am flying a kite. I like flying a kite. I can make kites. I like making kites. Write the phrase “making kites” on the board and read.(直观的向学生展示,让学生有深刻的印象。同时培养学生有益于身心健康的兴趣爱好。)
(5) Show the picture of the action “diving” and ask: What’s he doing? Ss: He’s diving. Write the phrase “diving” on the board and read and spell.(展示我国跳水世界冠军田亮、郭晶晶在比赛时为国家争光的跳水图片,直观地让学生明白什么是diving,同时培养学生爱国主义,鼓励学生参加一些有益身心的活动或者体育运动。)
(6) Chant: What is your hobby? What is your hobby? Playing, playing, I like playing the violin. Collecting, collecting, I like collecting stamps. Riding, riding, I like riding a bike. Making, making, I like making kites. Diving, diving, I like diving.(自编歌谣来巩固所学的知识内容,让学生在唱中学,学中唱。并加入动作帮助学生记忆,活跃课堂气氛。)
(7) Listen-repeat-read.(进行听力方面的训练以及巩固训练)
(8) Group work: ask and answer, then give a report. (培养学生在小组活动中积极与他人合作、相互帮助的精神,培养良好的学习习惯,鼓励、帮助他们共同完成学习任务。)

(2) show a picture of Harry Porter ,and ask the student “Do you know what’s Harry Porter’s hobby ? Why?” Group to finish this question. (先教师举例子“I think Harry Porter likes making friends . Because he has many friends .”从学生本身具备的能力出发,以用语言做事为教学理念,鼓励交际互动,联系实际生活,创设情境,让学生在各种活动中,提高语言运用的能力, 增强合作意识和解决问题的能力.)
